Senior Early Intervention Teacher
Masters Degree in Child Development, with a specialization in Early Childhood Care and Education, from the University of Delhi, India.
She started out working with a mainstream pre-school, but soon branched out in to special education, where she found her calling. Through the years, Aarthi has supported children in the age group of 2 – 8 years with a diverse range of diagnoses, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Global Developmental Delay, Down Syndrome, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Muscular Distrophy and developmental delays.
Prior to joining CDC, Aarthi was working as an Early Intervention Teacher in the private sector. She has experience in implementing small group intervention programmes that are tailored to meet the needs of each child and the group as a whole. She understands the importance of working hand – in – hand with parents and therapists in helping the child achieve his/her fullest potential and strives to do so whenever possible.
