With a range of trusted paediatricians available on the platform, families can conveniently access trusted paediatric care for eligible follow up consultations and selected non urgent healthcare needs.
Teleconsultation Hours
For paediatricians, video consultation hours are per clinic operating hours and by appointment basis only. Please refer to our clinics for your preferred clinic operating hours.
Getting Started is Simple

Install the Healthway Medical App and register an account.

Select "SBCC Baby & Child", and select the doctor you wish to have a tele-consultation with.

Consult with your doctor. (If you have booked an appointment, you will receive a reminder 15 minutes ahead of time.)

Make payment and your medication will be delivered to you.
Can Telemedicine Help My Child?
Telemedicine may be suitable for selected common childhood illnesses and follow up consultations. For conditions not listed below, our doctors will assess your child's symptoms and medical history to determine whether an online consultation is appropriate.

Overseas Consultation:
- Only applicable for for follow-up consultations and selected first consultations seeking a second opinion.
- First consultations for second opinions are limited to selected non-acute conditions. Consultation may be used to discuss existing diagnoses, investigations, and potential treatment options. Prescriptions will not be provided. Further evaluation or treatment may require an in person consultation.
- Additional charges may apply for extended consultation with the doctor, including time taken to review the reports and materials prior consultation.
- Medication delivery is subject to availability and local customs regulations.

Appointments & Consultations
What are the service timings for teleconsultations?
Teleconsultation appointments are available during your selected clinic's operating hours and are offered by appointment only. Please refer to https://www.sbcc.sg/clinics to check the clinic’s operating hours.
What do I need before my consultation?
Please prepare the following before your consultation:
- Parent or legal guardian present for patients below 16 years old
- Parent's and child's photo identification
- Current location and address
- Recent weight of your child
- Mobile device or computer with video capability
- Stable internet connection
- Quiet and private environment for the consultation
Can I choose a specific paediatrician for my teleconsultation?
Yes. You may select your preferred paediatrician when booking your teleconsultation through the Healthway Medical App.
What happens if the video call disconnects during the consultation?
You may reconnect to the consultation through the Healthway Medical App and continue the session with your doctor.
After Consultation
Can doctors issue medical certificates via video consultation?
Yes. Where appropriate, an electronic medical certificate (e-MC) will be available in the app under the "Visits & Docs" tab.
Can I obtain doctor's referral letters through the app?
Yes. If a referral is required, an e-Referral will be available in the "Visits & Docs" tab after your consultation.
Will I be able to view my consultation history in the app?
Yes. Your consultation records and visit details can be found under the "Visits & Docs" tab in the App.
Payment & Insurance
How do I pay for my teleconsultation?
Currently, we accept online payment via VISA, MasterCard, and AMEX.
Can I claim teleconsultation charges under my insurance plan?
Coverage depends on your insurance provider and policy. Please check directly with your insurer regarding teleconsultation benefits.
What is the exchange or refund policy?
All items or services provided are non-exchangeable nor refundable.
Medication & Delivery
Can I collect my medication at the clinic after the video consultation?
Yes, prescribed medications can be self collected at the clinic or delivered to your registered address ( Delivery charge applicable).
What are the delivery timings?
Medications will be delivered on the same day or next working day for late consultation. The delivery time would range between 9:00am to 10:00pm. Additional charges will apply for express delivery.
Which areas do you deliver to?
Medication delivery is available to valid addresses within mainland Singapore, excluding restricted zones, offshore islands, and secured areas.
Additional delivery surcharges:
- Jurong Island and Sentosa: +S$10
- Downtown, Orchard and CBD areas: +S$2
Account & App Support
Can my family member(s) use the same account to consult a doctor?
For dependents under the age of 16 years, you can add them under your account for video consultations with our doctors. Dependants above 16 years old will need their own account.
How secure is the information stored on my app?
We ensure all data is safe and secure by using industry standard security technology and practices to safeguard your accounts from any unauthorised access. This means that each time you access the App and enter your log on details, you will be securely connected to our servers.
How do I sign in using Apple ID with my existing Healthway Medical account?
This is applicable for existing users who have created a Healthway Medical account and would like to sign in using an existing Apple ID.
Once you have clicked on the Apple sign-in button, a pop-up will request to “Share My Email”. Please enable this request to proceed with the sign-in process.
If I have previously selected “Hide My Email” during my Apple sign-in, how can I unhide it?
- Go to your iPhone Settings.
- Select your Name.
- Select “Password & Security”.
- Select “Apps using Apple ID”.
- Select the app “Healthway Medical”.
- Select “Stop using Apple ID” for the app.
What can I do in the future if I have difficulty logging in?
Please ensure that "Hide My Email" is not selected. Existing Healthway Medical accounts may not be recognised if your email address is hidden during the sign-in process.
