Dr Isaac Liu is a Consultant Paediatrician and Paediatric Nephrologist with more than a decade of experience caring for infants, children and adolescents.

He graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the National University of Singapore (NUS) and later obtained his Master of Medicine (Paediatrics) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from NUS. He is also a Member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (UK).

Dr Liu completed his specialist training in Paediatrics at National University Hospital (NUH) and KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital (KKH) and is dually accredited in Paediatric Medicine and Paediatric Nephrology.

Dr Liu previously served as a Consultant Paediatrician at NUH and has extensive experience caring for children across both the public and private healthcare sectors before joining SBCC. His clinical interests include general paediatric care, urinary tract infections, hydronephrosis, childhood kidney disorders and nocturnal enuresis (bedwetting).

He understands that every child develops differently and works closely with families to ensure treatment plans are tailored to each child’s individual needs.

Alongside his clinical work, Dr Liu obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from NUS, reflecting his commitment to medical research and advancing paediatric care. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in leading international journals, including Pediatric Nephrology, American Journal of Transplantation, Clinical Journal of the American Society of Nephrology, Kidney International Reports, and the Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews.

His research spans childhood kidney diseases, nephrotic syndrome, kidney transplantation and evidence-based paediatric nephrology, enabling him to integrate the latest medical evidence into everyday clinical practice.
