Dr Ng is a specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, with special interest in minimally invasive surgery, especially in the application of single incision gynaecological laparoscopy. He graduated from the medical faculty, National University of Singapore (MMed) and holds a Diploma in advanced laparoscopy (Dip. Eur Gyn Endoscopy) from the renowned CHU Estaing laparoscopic centre, France. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Obstetrician & Gynaecologist as well as the honorary secretary of Obstetrical & Gynaecological Society of Singapore (OGSS).

He believes in holistic care for his patients and has vast experiences in performing surgeries and deliveries. Alongside his compassionate patient-centred care approach, Dr Ng is passionate about offering the best surgical solutions for management of gynaecological conditions. Dr Ng is the pioneer in Singapore to develop the application of single incision laparoscopic surgery (SILS) in gynaecology since 2009. He has since then performed more than 900 SILS surgeries successfully for gynaecological conditions such as fibroids, endometriosis and fertility regulation for family planning. Previously, he performed the first case of Single Site Robotic Surgery in Singapore (SSRS). In addition, Dr Ng also performed Da Vinci robotic assisted laparoscopic surgery and mini-laparoscopy.

Dr Ng is committed to providing obstetric care for all expectant mothers and advocates for natural delivery. He is an activist in promoting women’s health and as such, he enjoys organising public outreach programs to empower women in making informed decisions about their healthcare.

Dr Ng was the Assistant Professor (Clinician) at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore, and was invited as an invited speaker at the 3rd International Endoscopic Surgical Society Conference, Myanmar, 2017 where he performed a live surgery demonstration at the Myanmar Okalapa Government Hospital.He is also a fellow  of the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists, member of the Endoscopic and Laparoscopic Surgeons of Asia Pacific, honorary secretary of the Obstetrical & Gynaecological Society of Singapore (OGSS), and the Council Representative for the Asia & Oceania Federation of Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
