We provide assessment and therapeutic services for children with developmental and learning disorders. We also aid parents in nurturing their children. Our team comprises psychologists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, educational therapists, dieticians and early intervention teachers.

Our speech-language therapy programme focuses on the management of speech, language, communication and swallowing difficulties. Our therapy sessions involve one-to-one therapy, working in small groups or within a classroom, as well as parental or information counselling.

Ms Karen Ang is the principal speech and language therapist at SBCC Child Development.
She is an experienced speech therapist and has worked in not-for-profit organizations and private practices in Australia and Singapore. She assesses and provides intervention to children with a diverse range of communication difficulties, including autism spectrum disorders, speech and language delays, childhood apraxia of speech, developmental delays and literacy difficulties.
Ms Florence Tan is a Principal Speech and Language Therapist, and has clinical experience working with children and adults.
She has a keen interest in working with children with special needs, and has worked at various private learning centres and a social service centre, as well as in National University Hospital (NUH) Child Development Unit (CDU), providing full-time speech and language therapy services to paediatric cases.
